Rob and Jasmine are two of the most genuinely sweet people you could ever meet. Their wedding was originally scheduled for last March, right around the time everything was starting to get scary. They made the decision to postpone their big event, and have a small ceremony to get married at a local park. Does anyone remember the fire that burned down the barn at Frank Liske last year? So there went that option.... They finally got married behind some bulletproof glass at a county jail and have a great story for the grandchildren! haha
The day finally came for their celebration and it was perfect. Jasmine and Rob chose to do a first look, which is when the bride and groom see each other before the ceremony. The idea is to get rid of some pre-wedding jitters, and have time for more pictures since we don't have to squeeze them all between ceremony and reception. (Now, I know they were already married) BUT my point in saying this, is that so many couples are worried that doing a first look will take away the "moment" when he first sees her, etc. These two were proof that the moment can still be magical- wether it's on a porch or coming down the aisle. It's still a beautiful thing to capture, and the best part is you get to spend even more of your wedding day with your best friend!
(This isn't to pressure any of our future brides into doing a first look if you dont want to, it's absolutely your day! There are pros to both, let me know if you want more info!)
